Tough draw but Good for her.. If she is serious about tennis, she can't play in Australia only. Got to get out of her comfort zone and battle it out with the best players.

Well.....I guess she's taking your advice for she's staying in the States to play the 80k ITF event in Dothan, AL on the 15th of April, where Taylor and Brengle are entered amongst others. Then, there's the 80k ITF event in Charlottesville, Va the following week, where there's no entry list posted, but I assume she's playing that as well. Earlier, tho', there was an 80k event in Palm Harbor, FL following this weeks Charleston, but that event's been cancelled. But, I assume she entered that event, as well. So, she is indeed active and playing ITF events beyond the boundaries of Aussie land ere the French at the end of May.

Too bad the NFL and NBA cancelled out the Russian streams, for we could've witnessed these ITF events here in the States, tho' I think there's a website that shows such. I'll have to scrounge around for that. Duly miss the Russian bootlegged streaming site(s), nevertheless.

Lastly, surprised that ESPN carried IW and Miami on ESPN 3 w/o charging such via ESPN+. Tho' I subscribe to TC+, who carried both events, I watched most of the matches on ESPN 3.

yeah, I turned on that ESPN stream to sign up. I was surprised they were not asking me to subscribe.
We pay enough for Cable.. We should not be asked for another $5 ... Too much greed.

Packed court for Taylor's match with Julia G, people standing in the aisles. She won the lst set 6-4, is up 6-5 in the 2nd, but Julia is now on serve to send the set into the breaker.

These Nike all-black outfits the ladies are sporting looks nice on some. Sabine, while losing to Kenin, was rocking hers. In addition, Taylor has lost some weight it appears, much slimmer.

Upsets continue, Monica Puig dismisses Kenin in 2 by 6-4 scores ere another more than decent house on the outer courts. I'm sure the tourney director is thrilled with the attendance thus far.

Puig defeating Kenin shouldn't be an upset.
Puig is an Olympian, no matter her ranking today. :)
