Post Wimbledon PGames

Five events, but it seems that top players refuse to play, despite so many failing miserably in the first rounds of Wimbledon (yes, I am looking at you, Thiem, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Osaka, Kerber, Bencic, Bertens, Stephens, Sabalenka,....
you obviously NEED the practice!!!

I picked one uWP: Rybakina in Bucharest. At some point she needs to have a breakthrough event where all her potential is translated into result. Bucharest looks like a good option :-)

At least she won her R1 today. Come on, 4 more to go :-)

Someone let me know when Muchova or kaja Juvan are playing next. I won't mind selecting them for uWP in small events.

I also try to pick my underdog-faves in the MM-events. I am still too competitive in the main events.
So far, 2019 has been mediocre in WTA PGame (2 prem's, 2 internationals), but with Wimbledon under my belt, my year is OK :-).

Juvan won her first match in Bucharest today... you missed an opportunity to pick her as uWP ;-)

ah nice. Just saw the scoreboard. 6-1 6-1 in the last 2 sets. But she was playing an unknown ITF queen so that doesn't count. :)

A win is a win... Many top players once were unknown ITF-queens...

Juvan plays vs Begu this afternoon (probably too early in the States). Rybakina only plays her R2 on thursday.

Scoreboard shows she lost to Begu.
Oh well.

That was impressive, Rybakina: OK, it was against a low-ranked player, but still a R2 of an international event. And it was a bagel and a breadstick...

three more to go!! go go go!!!

she's got game. Another power player.. and a smart one. Great addition to the tour. Let's knock out all the pushers.
