I really like Belinda too, and hope that the injuries are well behind her. It was a fantastic week of tennis from her, and should really give her confidence a boost! When are seeds determined? Is it the week before a tournament starts? I can't remember.

She should be seeded; #23 at the moment.

I just looked at the ranking, and there are quite some "opponents to avoid" for R16 for the top 8:
Sabalenka
Serena
Barty
Mertens (she won against 3 top10's too in Doha)
Bencic

And there are others too who cannot be ignored (despite some recent weaker results): Wozniacki, Muguruza, Keys, Kasatkina, Ostapenko.

The race for #1 will be decided on who manages to survive the R32 and R16...
