If I had known that Karolina would become Kristina, I would have picked another R16-winner in the PGame.

So Ka.Pliskova is another player that withdraws. Will Halep and Kerber follow?
At least Svitolina decided to show up; straight win vs Ostapenko (who keeps on failing in the early rounds).

Note to Ostapenko: Sascha is free to help you with some technical elements.

Changed the title of this thread to Doha & Duba as I did not want to start another thread...

First saw the last set between Hsieh and Kvitova... Petra showing her best and her worst in the same set, but winning the match in the end... she had a BP for a double break at *1-3, but did not convert and made it harder than needed... 6-4 in the 3rd.

Now watching a dream SF for me between Svitolina and Benic... I still have a special place for Kasatkina, but seeing Bencic this week reaching a level that - imo - exceeds her 2015 peak (as teenager) makes me realise that she is my true favorite of the 1997-generation.

Belinda at the moment showing no mercy: 5-1 up in the first. So are we on our way to a final between Belina and my uWP Kvitova? In that case , a loss from Belinda may give me the PGame win as a consolation prize. But make no mistake: I will root for Belinda all the way :-)

First Set goes to Belinda :-) :-)

Was just thinking: in 2015, she won a P5 after beating Bouchard-Wozniacki-Lisici-Ivanovic-Serena-Halep
If she wins this, the series would be Hradecka-Voegele-Sabalenka-Halep-Svitolina-Kvitova

These are slam-worthy achievements: and six matches in 7 days... not that silly day of rest inbetween each (as we have with a slam).

Elina has the re-break, but plays well too... this match is not yet decided: 6-2 2-2

and Belinda in the final!!!

and back in the top 30!!! I guess that means seeded for IW and Miami I suppose :-)... and for the clay/grass slams too.

Who cares about the PGame and my Kvitova-uWP. I want Belinda to win tomorrow!!!

And Bencic is baaaacckkk!!
Sorry, Kasatkina, I still want the best for you, but I guess you are my #2..
I was not able to see/follow the final, but when I saw that Belinda won today, I was happier than Darya ever made me.. and when you know that her win made me lose the Pgame ( and I am REALLY competitive), that tells enough.

Belinda is my tennis girl... if she stays injury-free, she will be top5 by the end of this year. She can beat them all.

And her points to defend up to Roland Garros: 35...

She could be top 10 before you know it.
