Hope Trump-Lover ISNER Loses Until He Retires@anishmitch #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#Did I use the word 'gushing'? No. You did. Were other players questioned about Obama#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#div#ed_cl#like Trump because of a rabid elitist media hatred for the man? No. So stop the nonsense. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/div#ed_cl##ed_op#div#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/div#ed_cl# Last edited by Pyotr on Jul Tue 10, 2018 11:10 pm, edited 1 time in total. Re:Hope Trump-Lover ISNER Loses Until He RetiresLets not forget Trump is a big supporter of the WTA, he was part of their strong is feminine campaign. It's very hypocritical of women tennis to not atleast acknowledge his support..
Re:Hope Trump-Lover ISNER Loses Until He Retires@ Joylan1: Trump saying that Serena lost the Wimbledon final to Maria in 2004 because she was intimidated by Maria's 'alluring shoulders and supermodel looks' does not spell feminism support to me. Serena was forced to respond to his remarks at the French this year right before she was scheduled to play Maria.
Re:Hope Trump-Lover ISNER Loses Until He Retires@ Joylan1: Trolling for Eastern European women just as he did in supporting beauty pageants. Re:Hope Trump-Lover ISNER Loses Until He Retires@ Grossefavourite: Serena said she didn't hear it so she doesn't care. Didn't she play tennis with Trump? People are trying to distract Serena with all those Trump crap. It's not working. Give it up. The Princess is trying to win another slam. She is keeping her focus on that. The rest doesn't matter. I never defended the French Open. Their crowds are raucous, and, at times unfair. My comment to you was about the US Open, and I stand by it. I have been attending it since 1978, and it is not the same tournament as it was in the late 70's and early 80's. The crowd is knowledgeable, genial and is made up much more of non-New Yorkers. If you have any doubt, ask some of the people. It is not Jimmy Connors 1991, whipping up the crowd and calling the chair ump and abortion. Even the incident with Serena and the line judge was handled professionally and without craziness (2009) or when she was robbed in the Capriati match (2004). The crowd was well behaved, despite not believing what was taking place in either incident. #ed_op#/p#ed_cl##ed_op#p#ed_cl#As to your point of yelling pout or other moments of exuberance....happens at all tennis tournaments, including Wimbledon, and the chair ump does their best to reign in the small number of offenders. #ed_op#br#ed_cl# #ed_op#/p#ed_cl# |
