Novak Djokovic has accused the Australian immigration minister of failing to ask him his views on vaccination and to consider the impact of deporting him on anti-vaccination sentiment.

Djokovic’s lawyers also disputed claims the tennis star is an anti-vaxxer, arguing this was based on one statement in April 2020 “well before Covid vaccines were available”.

Djokovic later clarified his view when he said he was “no expert”, would keep an “open mind” but wanted to have “an option to choose what’s best for my body”, they said.

“There was no evidence before the minister that Mr Djokovic has ever urged any others not to be vaccinated. Indeed, if anything, Mr Djokovic’s conduct over time reveals a zealous protection of his own privacy rather than any advocacy.”

My family is a family of faith in Christ. Some of us have chosen to take the vaccine and some not. It’s a personal choice and while some of us may disagree we respect each other’s decisions. We pray and move on.

Was great waking up with this news (to the disappointment of some, my heart did not stop during my sleep)

But you are right, I have zero compassion for the health repercussions of a preventable disease with regard to people voluntarily refusing protection. When in ICU, I advise them to die asap, so beds become available for those with a condition they did not cause themselves.
Are you shocked? Well, when you lose an older family member (as I did) because he was -due to age - not prioritised for (cancer)treatment, and ICU was full with unvaccinated covidiots, one becomes radicalised very quickly. So I treat them with the same ‘respect’ as they treated my uncle.

And no need to pray for this atheist or start with Christian values (which sounds so hollow coming from Trump-voters - You think your Jesus would approve his actions? Republican Christians earned their one-way ticket to Hell long time ago).

It is not an opinion, my dear, it is a FACT what happened to my uncle.

It was one of the reasons I was hardly online; the last thing I needed was having to deal with US-nutcases defending the very thing that caused someone I cared about, not getting the care he needed, and dying from it.

So yes, I wish the very same happening to any anti-vaxxer.
