We all have moments that we pass someone we really know and fail to see them because our mind was pre-occupied. and in this case, they probably never met in real life so it can happen.
Coco probable feels annoyed that she missed the opportunity for a selfie or an autograph, haha...
Even I hardly recognised Henin in the video
Many said just that, that Justine is unrecognizable now, but I recognized her right away (she's looking cute). Maybe she didn't know who Justine was, but if Serena is her hero, I'm sure she revisited all of Serena's matches, especially those with such an intense rivalry.
Preoccupied and deep in thought is probably the best reason ~ I'll give Coco that!!

Coco plays Osaka next.
What a rough draw for her: Venus, and Osaka while others are playing nobody. If she survives, Osaka, Winner of Qwang vs Serena (Serena potentially) is waiting.
How would she survive Osaka? Knock her out with a ball directly to her head?

It was a great rivalry indeed... hate them or love them, but we all secretly miss those days "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience"
"Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it"

I am not surprised Coco didn't recognize Henin. You run into so many people at these tournaments. you are not necessarily looking at everyone. Coco probably had her head down, trying to get to where she is going without being stopped for autographs. These players do not have it easy when strolling in public.
