I would have burned down the police stations, not the shops.
this is first degree murder. You shouldn't sit on the neck of someone who is already handcuffed if you didn't mean to kill him.

That cop did security work with him for a decade, so it was premeditated murder I.

I don't know about premeditated murder, but the revelation of both of them working security at the same establishment (the EL Nuevo Rodeo Club in Minneapolis), overlapping each other at times and the officer not recognizing him in the arrest...... I find that strange to say the least. Chauvin clearly should have recognized Floyd and diffused the entire scene, given their prior history working in the same establishment.

Maybe, it'll come out in a subsequent trial at some point, but I'd like to know why Chauvin didn't take a different position on Floyd given this information.

Well, since I'm revealing myself:

My uncle died in police custody on my 7th birthday, and my family damn near destroyed the police station!! Led to a multitude of deaths and problems in my family!!

My eldest brother also passed away while incarcerated ~ Had a heart attack at 37 and they wouldn't transport him to a decent hospital. His last words to me when I visited him: "They are trying to kill me, get me outta here"!!

We tried as best we could, but he passed in two days :( :( :( :( :(

That is horrible. How many of them have died in custody? Too many to count. KKK members infiltrating police and doing their jobs quietly. It's one of their modern ways.
Was it last year that they discovered one of the police involved in the killing of a Black man was a KKK member? I forgot the detail of the story but during the investigation, they found his KKK membership card, the frame pictures of his leaders, etc.. Anyone remember?
