It was about to happen; the gap with the #1 was so small, but it only happens when it actually happens...
And today, it happened: Perdida won both WTA Stuttgart and WTA Istanbul. And by doing so, Perdida became the 12th #1 in the WTA PGame rolling ranking (= the best of last 12 months) since 2009.
CONGRATULATIONS on a year with consistent results (and participation)

The battle for #1 in WTA PGame"Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re: Perdida NEW #1 in WTA PGameIn the earlier years (2002-2006), the system of Prem.5, Prem mand, etc was less clear, so the ranking that I calculated for that period is open for interpretation/discussion. and as I was not yet around, I did it as good as possible, but I do not consider it as 100% reliable. Notable #1s in that period were: Glowinbrains - 61 weeks Moasey - 58 weeks (on top of the 22 weeks in the post 2009-era) Experimentee - 46 weeks Gavnich - 24 weeks Joao - 20 weeks "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re: Perdida NEW #1 in WTA PGameAnd to be complete: the current top5 in the rolling ranking: 1. Perdida - 1369 pt 2. Rex - 1366 pt 3. Graveller - 1361 pt 4. Jeff in Texas - 1311 pt 5. Wannadoo75 - 1308 pt "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re: Perdida NEW #1 in WTA PGameThe reign of Perdida only lasted one week (for the moment); Rex took over again and is #1 for the 11th time But when we remove Madrid's points from 2018, we get another ranking: provisional ranking after Madrid: 1. Graveller: 1307 pt 2. Perdida: 1306 pt 3. Rex: 1302 points And even Jeff in Texas (1274 pt ) and Wannadoo75 §1738 pt) are not far away. And Rome will have a huge impact too after that. I expect a lot of #1-changes in the coming three-four months (if I remove all 2018 points between wk19 and wk32 (=incl Prem.5 Canada, then the current top 3 is still within 25 points of each other) "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re: The battle for #1 in WTA PGameUPDATE - the #1 is changing hands all the time - Madrid and Rome both had an impact: What happened in 2019 so far, who was/is the #1 in the rolling ranking: Week1-4: Graveller Week 5-11: Rex Week 12-15: Graveller Week 16-17: Rex Week 18: Perdida Week 19: Rex Week 20 (after Madrid): Graveller Week 21 (after Rome): Perdida The scores for the moment are: 1. Perdida: 1360 pt 2. Graveller: 1342py 3. Rex: 1337 pt 4. Jeff in Texas: 1318 pt 5. Wannadoo75: 1294 pt. (But it was Pyotr who won both Madrid and Rome). Next change may happen after RG.
