Well, hitting the road. I'll turn on the scoreboard from work for Venus' match.
At least we will have a great final:
Muguruza vs Venus or Konta.

Two days ago - when I said that Rybarikova was a nice story, RU90 responded with: #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#
Not just a nice story, but Rybarikova is playing the highest-quality grass-court tennis of anyone (18-1 record). She uses slice, drop shot, lob, exactly as they should be, on all dimensions of the court. Not a power player who mindlessly bashes from the baseline who runs hot and cold.
#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#If this was "highest-quality grass-court tennis of anyone", then WTA is truly done and dusted... #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#All she did was baseline bashing, running from left to right, ans bringing tennis not even top50 worrth. A disgrace for CC on a SF day....#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#6-1 6-1 ...#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#Well done, Garbine, with your second Wimbledon final. We will have a decent final now....#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#

W commentary (lol) 14:23
With that match being wrapped up in barely an hour, Jo Konta and Venus Williams are sensibly not being rushed into action quite yet. It will be 2.45pm before the Centre Court crowd can welcome them onto the turf - so plenty of time for everyone to grab a cup of tea, Pimm's, white wine - or frankly whatever your beverage of choice is on a summer's afternoon.

So many times in the WTA, both GS semi's tend to mirror each other in terms of scoreline.

Muguruza: "I think I played very well. She's a very talented player and was playing very good in the tournament but today I was super confident and everything went well. Once you have been in these situations you know how to handle these matches better. I don't even remember how I felt in the French Open [when winning it in 2016] but I just feel I am playing well and just want to keep it up for the last match. Conchita [Martinez, her coach] knows how to win here [1994 singles champion] and hopefully she can tell me something - she has been helping me all the time with her experience and her tips. I'm going to enjoy being in a grand slam final. I think it's going to be a great final, no matter what."

Muguruza had an easy day at the office.
