Will we be running an RG SKAN here?
go firmly to the window
and listen with deep emotion,
but not with the whining, the pleas of the coward;
listen-your final pleasure-to the voices,
to the exquisite music of that strange procession

I only thought about the US Skan like 3 days befote the start, and I had no time (it's been busy for me). a,d also looked complicated with 50% op top 32 not even participating.

But I will commit to set up Roland Garros (if OK for other commish here)... just need a really up-to-date entry list...
Will use the rankings as mentioned on WTA/ATP website.

It should have been starting this week (RG): weather has been beautiful this week (mini-heatwave with 34°C on tuesday; that is 93°F)... An all-time record for a day in september.

But Trump assured me that is gonna get cooler :-) :-) (it is also called "winter", LOL)

Kim out of Paris: "I have decided to spend the next few weeks with my family," she said, adding that she would "soon" decide on her next event.

Tournament may not happen........Ben Rothenberg notes that 2 players in qualifying have tested positive for the virus; 3 other players have been in contact with a coach who has the virus. In general, Paris has seen a recent spike in such cases.

2 week weather forecast for Paris during the event.......low temps and rain, coupled with increase virus cases in the city. Doesn't look promising....

Rafa didn't defend his USO title because of covid-19 risks/fears. Seems worse in Paris.

Curious see hear Kristina's criticism given her meltdown at USO:

Kristina Mladenovic fumes at 'abominable' treatment under US Open Covid protocols
‘We’re living a nightmare here,’ French player says. Mladenovic hits out after second-round meltdown.

Looks like the site was down for the week heading into RG. In any event I couldn't reach it and therefore couldn't pursue this question. I really wasn't in a position to operate it manually, having just moved 4,500 kms to a new residence. So we will leave 2020 with just the AO SKAN in the record books.

I am hopeful, however, that we will be able to run a full year of SKANs in 2021, COVID permitting, and am thankful to the team here at TG for continuing to support it.
