Sharapova vs Kerber PredictionSharapova will play Kerber at the AO....This will be the first true major event that Sharapova has played without drugs while Kerber is playing well this year. They have played 7 times with Sharapova winning for to Kerber's 3. Based on form, you'd think that Kerber would win and she will IF: (1) Handle her nerves, (2) MOVE Sharapova smartly, (3) Play defense well...Sharapova will win IF: (1) Keep UE's to a minimum, (2) Keep Kerber on the move (3) Serve well.....PREDICTION: Sharapova in 3 (UGH, I CAN"T STAND HER and am rooting for Kerber to win this year's AO!!!!!!!) Re:Sharapova vs Kerber Predictionlol lol.. tough isn't it? don't forget to record your prediction @ http://www.tennisgamers.com/board/pdgam ... Event#Ttop
Re:Sharapova vs Kerber PredictionI believe Maria will win, as I believed she'd beat Sevastova in straight sets. It'll be a close match. Keys to the match, For Maria: 1. Serve well 2. Be aggressive and more forward whenever you can on a short ball. Don't be afraid to volley 3. Use the short cross court angles 4. Attack Kerber's 2nd serve 5. Be patient For Kerber: 1. Serve well, especially 2nd serve. Don't give Maria sitters. Use the body serve 2. Defend well, get many balls back. Make her hit the extra ball 3. Open the court and use the lefty serve to your advantage. Get her moving 4. Try to draw Maria into the net on your terms. You have pretty good passing shots. 5. Be aggressive, hit behind Maria, take time away
If Kerber plays as well as she's been playing, I don't see Maria's path to even winning a set. Should it go to a 3rd set, Maria is no longer the 3rd set Queen since her suspension. As I've said, I've personally seen her twice sip from a black bottle she ensconced in a towel, before a 3rd set or tiebreaker and just flattened her opponent. Once the camera was on her, she hid it behind her back and shooed them away. In any event, meldonium under the bridge. Kerber in 2. Are you sure you're describing a tennis match? go firmly to the window and listen with deep emotion, but not with the whining, the pleas of the coward; listen-your final pleasure-to the voices, to the exquisite music of that strange procession #ed_op#font color="brown"#ed_cl#@ #ed_op#b#ed_cl#PeterSkan#ed_op#/b#ed_cl#:#ed_op#/font#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# You wanna follow that guy's mind? lol lol#ed_op#br#ed_cl#good luck#ed_op#br#ed_cl# Last edited by Ace2Ace on Jan Thu 18, 2018 9:14 pm, edited 2 times in total. Only two former slam winners are left in the draw.... and they meet each other in R3 #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it"
ANGELIQUE KERBER VS. MARIA SHARAPOVA Third-round matches at majors don’t come much more promising than this one. The last three times Sharapova and Kerber played, they went three sets, and all of them were contests of the highest athletic order. Sharapova the fearless slugger vs. Kerber the tireless retriever makes for an ideal contrast in styles, and each of these former Australian Open champions appears to be rounding into something close to top form at the moment. So far in Melbourne, Sharapova has kept the errors at bay, while Kerber has moved up in the court. But if this is contest where both women are playing well, I like Kerber’s consistency, by a (blond) hair. Winner: Kerber http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2018/01/ ... pen/71437/ By the way, Maria's arm makes her look like an old lady. What's up?
