@Ace -

Please see my PM re the SKAN.
go firmly to the window
and listen with deep emotion,
but not with the whining, the pleas of the coward;
listen-your final pleasure-to the voices,
to the exquisite music of that strange procession

Hello everyone!!! Have I already won or is there a chance JeMa can win if Fed loses to Cilic?

This will be my 2nd win if I win. Won the US open contest 2-3yrs ago I think.

Awesome!!!

It certainly seems to me anticlimactic, if not premature, to post medals before the event is done. Not only that, but I think you're right. The 210 Victory points [not to mention 31 quality points] JeMa would get with a Cilic victory would bump him/her past the other three. JeMa also has Fed, so there's a minor domination point element but I agree with you ... a Cilic victory should boost JeMa to the top.

Or is there something I'm missing.

Graveller, what's your take?

Anyway, here are the highlights from the SKAN semi's:

Catching up to the semi's ... all said and done. Highlights ....

*Still a four-way race between Spvxv0 [2307 pts], Borenore 2 [2301 pts] Laughing Cavalier [2279 pts] and Jema [2277 pts], jostling for position.

*Laughing Cavalier still has all three of his WTA players left [Kerber Wozniacki Halep]. Impressive

*Windsongs' "The Super Team" leads Domination points with 915.

*41 teams have Woz, 27 have Halep. On the men's side, 75 of 91 teams have Roger, but only 3 have Cilic:

4th place JeMa has Marin as his #5 seed
10th place tennisroyalty93 has Marin as #3 seed
62nd place Brens has Marin as the #3 seed

Which tier did you find yourself in?

1. [top 10]: "Monopoly"
2. [next 27]: "Stock Ticker"
3. [next 27]: "Trivial Pursuit"
4. [bottom 27]: "Old Maid"

Spot-on analysis: Cilic/Federe is the decider between JeMaand Sovxv.

I expected Borenore instead of Spvxv, but the fact that Halep only won one game more than Kerber in three sets, and Won won in straights vs Mertens, + Federe leading 11-3 when Chung retired (a litvof points for Federer)resulted in a marginal gain for Borenore.

THANK YOU!!!! My 2nd win in 5 years. I debated big time switching between Svitolina and Halep. Made the right decision in the end to go with Caroline, Halep & Kerber.

This contest added some much needed excitement for me since I was missing Serena.

Thanks Scan!!
