I don’t Tsitsipas’ comments sound personal. He is probably saying what the younger guys are saying as well. It just sounds “hungry” to me.

Just winning versus “we want to put a stop to his dream” sounds like more than just simple hunger. Don’t recall such comments against Nadal or Federer whom Djokovic is chasing.

Davenport/Hingis made similar comments on the cusp of the first all-Williams GS final at the USO. Davenport told the press 'not to worry' because she had a 'chat' with Hingis to stop the the WS' dream of meeting in the final. Of course, they failed spectacularly. LOL. I suspect the new generation will likewise fail to stop Novak's dream of sweeping all GS this year.
