Practical question to my fellow-commish for the first PGames: the first monday is still in 2018; does that give problems for the system?
In that case, we need to enter tuesday the 1st as starting date when setting up the games?

Re your question.....attempted to create a test game with start dates either 2018-12-31 or 2019-01-01 and the system reverts back to 2018-01-01 and brings up the draw of the Auckland event last January. So, it appears the system has "bugs" as yet and is in need of correction ere the start of the season.

Further.........am having troubles with this site ever since the hacking issue that Ace discovered on the 28th of Nov. Even responding to you, the reply button doesn't work at all with your name on it and the editing option doesn't work. The 'Fox browser doesn't work for this site, posts don't post and even using Safari, I'm unable to create a test game, as mentioned.

Ace has disappeared after he attempted to correct that hacking problem earlier this month by changing host servers(?). So, the status of the Prediction Games appears to be in question for the start of the year unless Ace solves pending issues prior to such.

Grav'.....I still can't post using 'Fox, but the reply button works using such, but doesn't work with Safari, nor Opera. Appears the hacker(s) have done their job disrupting this site. For what? Just being a nuisance? Yet, makes me wonder why for this is just a site to make harmless predictions re tennis for a handful of participants having no ultimate significance.......just a game.....

If Ace doesn't find a solution to this prior to the new year, I believe the Pgames are in jeopardy..... Yet, as you say, we'll see in 16 days....

Yeah the date entered, we don't necessarily have to pick Monday, if Monday doesn't fall in Week #1.
It's the week number that counts. So even if the tournament start Monday but the week doesn't change until Wednesday, we'll enter Wednesday as starting date.
For the program, the Week # is more important than the starting date.

Main draw starts for Auckland and Brisbane for the ladies tonight. My tennis viewing will start with the match between Kuzmova v Zidansek, scheduled to begin here in the states at 8 p.m. I've subscribed to TC+, for, per schedule, they are supposedly covering all the ladies events this year, save for San Jose and New Haven, and I'll see if they'll carry this match this evening.

The aforementioned match will be offset by the match I want to see featuring Destanee v Kristina Mladenovic, which is scheduled to start a half hour later in Brisbane. Again, as mentioned, it remains to be seen if TC+ carries this match.

The last match on my tennis viewing agenda this evening is Serena's match v Sakkari at the Hopman, which is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m., stateside midwest.

Yep....TC+ is legit so far, tho' I think video quality is 720p level, which can be improved on in the near future. Stream is stable as I'm currently watching the beginning of Destanee's match with Kristina. Of note tho', Destanee is playing her 4th straight match in as many days, emerging from qualies. She looks good, torso has been tightened up. Held serve to start.....
