Yes it does.

Kerber and Serena the only two players who won a slam on three different locationss in the last 10 years.

(Note: Meldonium-enhanced slams do not count in my book).

Congrat Kerber. Excellent game.
Serena could not keep the ball in play today. That last volley she missed by 100 miles was the whole game. Got to put those points away.
For her first full slam back, that was not bad.

Kerber's game is pretty simple. And it works.

Despite all the top10-players losing early, we got a final between two of the leading ladies of the current WTA.

Gut told me there'd be a Sam Stosur result in this final.
Again, Serena loses a W final after a long layoff (2004: Surgery; 2018: Pregnancy, 4 surgeries).

In any event, thank Ree for the motivating words. Today, instead of running 10 hills after 4 hours of tennis, I ran 15.

See you in NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will win AO 2019.

Now looking back, I wish she has ran into Kerber in the R3 or R4.
She won't have made this big mess.
