Thiem started to play to the middle all the time; Zverev did not have to move at all... which is a stupid thing to do if you have an opponent with a leg injury. Thiem was just counting on Zverev making errors, becoming way too passive. Zverev took initiative inn most rallies, and showed a lot. If he had not been injured, he coudl have won this one for sure. While waiting for the ladies the other day, I watched Cecchinato and ... this guy is good. I went immediately to my PDGame and changed my prediction for him against Djokovic. I don't think Djokovic can beat this guy. I am not surprised to see the current score. This guy should take out Djokovic in 3 straight sets. He is good. I don't know how old he is and how long he has been in the Main Draws. Is he a headcase who runs out of energy quickly like the talented Benoit Paire? That would be the only thing that defeats him here. If Djokovic loses after Alex Z., my Skan adventure is over.  |
