Naomi needs to take revenge against Keys. That collapse was monumental. It made me think she didn't have the mental strength to win big matches and titles.

#ed_op#i#ed_cl#The only way Naomi beats Madison is the day Madison is excessively gifting, for Naomi cannot overpower Madison with her one-dimensional game. The header will be forever lopsided in Madison's favor and a surface has nothing to do with it. Naomi's game is very simple, to overpower her opponent from the baseline. If she can't do that, then she'll lose, for there is zero creativity in her game. Woke up to this match this morning at 4-2 in the 2nd set breaker, Naomi up 4-2. From that point Madison took control, her weight of shot far better and won same, 9-7 with errors on her part. Hoped it would go 3 so that I can see. However, it looked dire when I saw the return game. Match stats told: Madison 30 winners to "8" from Naomi with just one Ace. Madison with 3 aces and 28 donations to 18 for Naomi. Who's the dictator? Madison. Eight winners from a so-called power player is telling. #ed_op#/i#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Sad to see Svitolina ousted at this early stage.

#ed_op#i#ed_cl#For some reason Svitolina lost a lot of weight recently, looked far stronger in Miami where she dismissed Naomi, had more winners. In this event, she looks scrawny and only had 11 winners in losing to Buz' today and only 14 in beating Kuzmova, who gifted herself out of that match....

Garbine talked about that recently, the girls are seduced by the 'model' look and life, made more acute by the importance of social media, primarily Instagram.

come on Parmentier. No one should be double bageled at the stage in a slam.

Wow, people turn evil when their tournament darling is swatted ignominiously from the event.
