French soccer player Platini said there is no way you can organize such a big event and not do something to the draw. That's a message to those who say draws are random.

We already know where Halep and Wozniacki are placed.
The computer/(organizers) knows who it wants those 2 players to face in R1... it will also place their potential R2 opponents, and their potential R3 opponents.
That computer involvement opens the doors to some shady deals. Why can't they do the draw in the open, in front of everyone?

We know where Muguruza and Svitolina will be placed. So the computer can judiciously place their R1 opponents, and their potential R2 and R3 opponents.
There is no mystery.
