Well, this is for me a great line-up.
Hope to see a bit of each mach. There is a genuine risk that all the ones that I want to see in the SF will lose, but even then we will end up with interesting SFs.

That ending of the first set between Wozniacki and Kasatkina... a lot of games in this set showing why I like Kasatkina so much... at times, Darya is showing Caroline all corners of the courts.

Got frustrated when Darya failed to serve it out at 6-5 (nerves got into the arm), but in that TB she unleashed her FH - her first 4 points in that TB were all FH winners and it was never in doubt who would win that TB (7-2).

One more set, Darya, and you got a win vs the new #1...
7-6 1-0...

It looks better and better: 7-6 3-0.

With each outside serve, Kasatkina forces Wozniacki outside the court, and then makes her run left-to-right until Woz makes the error or until Kasatkina sees an opportunity to hit a winner.

We are not there yet, but the margin of error for Carolina has become very small

Back on serve.... but really, leading 30-0 with two great off-FH winners and then all those UE's? and a DF on BP??? Come'on.....

7-6 3-2*

Poor Eugenie. She should just snag a hockey player while she's still young and call it a career.

If Daria fails to serve it out, she's toast.

@ Grossefavourite:

But Darya is a future Top 5, so she takes it on her first MP... with a dropshot   (well, the winner was the shot after the dropshot, but the hard work was over by then)....

7-6 6-3 KASATKINA!!!!!!

2nd win over a #1....

Pretty sure Caro needed a rest. No way she's fresh. She's still miles ahead of Sloanie.
