Pushers are the types of players that get every back but do not really go for winners. These shots can include lobs, moon balls and in a lot of cases, deep shots that you can't attack......Here is how to beat such players...
1. BE PATIENT!!!!!!
2. Move them around the court by using aggressive footwork and maneuverability and eventually they will give up a shot ball that you can hit into the open court and this shot usually lands mid court with nothing on it or no angle and it usually is directed down the middle. The goal is to move them constantly.
3. While moving them, hit to their weaker side, this is where the shot ball will come into play that you can attack.
4. Hit some drop shots and bring them into the net. They usually are glued to the baseline and do not like coming in.
5. BE PATIENT!!!!!!
6. Attack weaker serves to get them on the back foot. Attacking does not necessarily hitting hard but with angles. pushers hate that!
7. BE PATIENT!!!!!!..
I played a pusher yesterday in a best of 5 setting and won 6-1,6-1,6-0....In about an hour and 10 minutes....
