Back-to-Back Pusher Slam Champions! Wozniacki will finally get her Slam as Halep will
most surely choke yet again!

The final I want and didn't want. I wanted kerber eliminated and Woz victorious but not a Halep-Woz final. Anyhoo, I want Woz to win.

My animus and their pushing aside, they gave it everything. Halep was pure jock, which I appreciate. You gotta respect them for the effort on display, though I sensed choking in the early goings for Kerber.

Actually, in later interviews, she said the injury had traveled north to the leg.

@Ace2Ace

i made a joke because such a big deal was made of the injury, yet she hasn't since played like she has an injury.

i'm rooting for Halep in the final. I no longer consider her a pusher. She's really going for it and being very aggresive and hitting big shots. Wozniacki is more of the pusher still, although I can see she's trying. But only when things get tight does she go for it.

Huge compliment then for Woz. If you go for it when things get tight it means you're a real hungry warrior, Williamsesque almost.

No, unless I read his comments incorrectly. He said when things get tight and edgy, Woz loosens up and goes for the kill. That's a champion's mindset. I don't read tight as nothing to lose. That's an entirely different mindset.

He said Wozz only goes for it when she has her back against the wall... :) That's what I call "desperation mode'... I wouldn't compliment it. :)
