Time to replace Konta by Garcia

Missing from last year's roster:
Kerber, Radwanska ... who is the 3rd one?

Kuznetsova also didn't make the cut this year. Domi or Aga didn't even qualify for Zhuhai. I think Domi is injured and Aga still on honeymoon.

So that makes it 4 players?
Kerber, Radwanska, Kuznetsova and the defending champion Cibulkova.
Is that a Premiere?

No: in 2002, Serena, Venus, Seles,Hantuchova and Dokic were in, but not in 2003: these FIVE were replaced by Mauresmo, Myskina, Dementieve, Sugiyama and Rubin.
(Only Clijsters, Henin and Capriati were in both).

And in 2004, there were again 5 players that were not participating in 2003: Serena, Davenport, Kuznetsova, Zvonareva, Sharapova.

And in 2005 there were Four players that were not in 2004: Clijsters, Petrova, Pierce, Schnyder.

No Kerber. Shocking. It would be understandable if she were injured, but she wasn't.
