Destanee won in 3 sets, but Kristie apparently withdrew, for she's not in the qualie draw. Her next opponent is the winner of A. Rodionova v C. Dolehide (stateside player). If she gets Arina, then that's a toughie, for she's beaten Destanee 3 times, but Arina is also 27 years old.

Just checked the scoreboard... And girl Aiava is out.. Lost the TB in the first set.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#Not playing after the Aussie season has been detrimental.. Her competition (Haddad and Vondrousova) are already in the top-100.. and she has not won 3 matches in a row since she picked up the racket again. We've LL go all the way to the Final. Losing in the jungle of the Qualies doesn't mean the girl can't beat any of the players in the Main Draw. Aiava has to find a way to stop playing Qualies.#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# Clay and grass have not been kind to her so far. Hopefully she'll show up for the hard court after Wimbledon.
