2018 PredictionGame
Gstaad question - update says Zopp vs Agut for final - but is it Berettini in the final? #ed_op#br#ed_cl#Points awarded in semis for Berettini. Last edited by CrossCourtBH on Jul Sat 28, 2018 7:36 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re:2018 PredictionGame@ CrossCourtBH: My first win was Montreal/Toronto in 2011; exactly 7 years ago... and the first years we were with 6-7 regulars.... easier to win a lot of titles.... Ace is the only one who played since the start in 2002... "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" I did it And I am not talking about winning Montreal, but about taking the #1 in the Rolling ranking.. To be honest: I got a huge help from Wannadoo75 for not predictiing in R32, because my lead in the ranking is only 5 points. If he had scored 6 points (which is likely), I would have failed... It is, in fact, exactly 6 years since I lost the #1 spot; i lost it after week#32 in 2012, but not regain it in week #33 of 2018. It was probably my last opportunity to to do it: I have more points to defend than Wannadoo75 in the next weeks (with titles to defend in New Haven and at the US Open), but even one week at the top is very satisfactory. For Cinci, I have 5 more points to defend (and my lead is 5 points), so whoever does better is #1 in week 34.... For the race to the YE#1, Jeff did a bad job this month, but Themo seems to be contender too: Current standings in the 2018-race: 1. Rex (1070 pt) 2. Graveller (1058 pt) 3. Perdida (1042 pt) 4. Wannadoo75 (1036 pt) 5. Themo (988 pt) 6. Jeff in Tecas (983 pt) Six players within 100 points... And with Cinci, US Open, Wuhan, Beijing and YEC, there are still 5 events where one can make up easily 30-50 points (depending on fmKO, uWP, etc) "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" |
