What kind of scheduling is this? there is no way Muguruza and Ostapenko can play their full matches. It will be too dark.#ed_op#/span#ed_cl#

Well, they can shift one or both of those matches to Center Court, where there are only "3 matches" slated, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and start at 11:30 a.m. and can finish under the roof with lights, if need be. Further, Ct. 1 has 4 matches slated but with a start time of 1:00 p.m. as well, unlike the other courts with 4 matches on the docket at a minimum but with 11:30 a.m. starts. What's the point of having Center Court, lacking matches, and Ct. 1 with 1 p.m. starts with backed-up matches due to rain delays? Those start times should be changed. Lastly, they can also shift matches to other courts, depending on how soon earlier matches end and weather permitting.

I'm already nettled with this event, exacerbated with Wimby statisticians making a thorough mess of match stats (appalling crap), the worst of the Slams, my girls losing, Petra K. imploding with a bagel to boot and her forum, wrapping her in swaddling clothes and placing her in a manger for a "28" year old player, as if she'll never grow up.

Barty - Osaka -Kasatkina -Mertens -Bencic (after facing MP on the Ridke-serve on set 2) ... all into R3. Great day for me so far...

So sad to see Garbine, the defending champ, ousted so early and embarrassingly by a journeywoman.

There is no journeywoman here anymore. Watch some of the ITF events and you will see how hard these girls serve and return.
Tennis has changed and everyone is adapting.
Pushers will be soon extinct. If Garbine was pushing against this hard hitting girl, well, that's it.

Got to force the issue. Got to play hard. Did you see the aces Naomi Broady was hitting in her last match. Sometimes 2 in a row to get out of trouble.
WTA is a war zone. If you can't hit, get out of the way.

That is true. When she sees Serena at the other end, she comes out swinging.. But everyone does that. You got to play your best against the GOAT. Makes sense.

Ostapenko and Van Uytvanck are the cherry on the cake: nothing but great results from players that matter to me...😀😀
