Quite a draw.... Pliskova vs Rybarikova, but also Konta vs Kvitova and Muguruza vs Pavlyuchenkova...

And on top of that: Svitolina against one of the Nottngham semi-finalists....

If it was the objective to lose all top4 seeds in R1, then they may achieve that with this draw.

I don't like the draw system in general.
For a 32-seed draw, R1 should oppose top-16 to the rest.
Here at least we avoided Q vs Q or Q vs WC. I hate to those kinds of match-ups.

Pliskova lost inevitably. I thought she was going to take time off after her unhappy RG?

Julia Gorgeous stops Barty. Scores looks tight.
