women's matches from Friday that were cancelled due to rain and darkness. Thus, this schedule is not the final schedule for tomorrow and you'll have to find out between now and tomorrow what time Petra K's match with Anette, Sloane's match with Giorgi begin and the men's matches (Goffin's match with Monfils and Pouille's match Khachanov) are completed.....#ed_op#/i#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/p#ed_cl##ed_op#p#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/p#ed_cl##ed_op#p#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/p#ed_cl##ed_op#p#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#/p#ed_cl# This French Open is a mess. Do they intend to play the cancelled matches under the moonlights tonight? And they relegate clean player Simona Halep, #1 and last year's finalist to court 18? Because the men's #1 players has multiple slams. I don't mind not being on Chartier.. But Court 18 seems "So disrespectful", to quote Sloane. French Open will not put #1 Serena on Court #18. Last edited by Ace2Ace on Jun Fri 01, 2018 3:29 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Re:OOP....Sat...Paris....June 2, 2018Players should not feel too put out to play on outer courts - #ed_op#br#ed_cl#after all - #ed_op#br#ed_cl#it is very nice for those spectators to see higher ranked players. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#Are spectators delegated to certain courts by way of ticket purchase - or first come first served.#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# Re:OOP....Sat...Paris....June 2, 2018#ed_op#i#ed_cl#Petra K. loses in 2 set breakers. Made 60 errors and dfed 10 times in 2 sets, but the theme of the posts on the TF for this match was that it was "high quality". One must be kidding....... Didn't see this match 'til the 2nd set breaker, but match stats indicate that Petra was terrible. Hardly a high quality effort just because the score was duplicate 7-6. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#If the match had gone 3 she would have easily eclipsed the 80 errors she made at IW against Putintseva while winning in 3 sets. The lowering of quality standards for women's tennis continues to nosedive it appears. #ed_op#/i#ed_cl# #ed_op#br#ed_cl#
