This "International" event is loaded with talent and interesting matchups. lst off the Pliskova sisters play each other. Just noticed that their header is 4-all......interesting....

Of note for me is the talented, 19 year old V. Kuzmova faces off with Q. Wang. If she wins, she gets the winner of the Pliskova sisters' match.

Other matches of note for me at least:

Mona v the talented 18 year old Marketa Vondrousova. Picking Marketa to win, but she may retire again with a suspect back.

Gavrilova v Stosur
Sasnovich v Dodin
Giorgi v Strycova
Siniakova v Petkovic
Petra K. v Smitkova

Lotsa good matches and duly hope the Kuzmova match is on at a reasonable time for stateside viewing.

Yup.. lots of good matches. (I don't believe the Pliskova sisters match is a coincidence).

Kuzmova has another opportunity to move inside the top-100. I bet if she needs one more match to get in, she'll find a way to lose. Sad

I don't think Kuzmo can play on clay... She's already out.
