The Bottom-Half in action.
Bringing on..
Too bad I won't be watching until maybe the last match. Hope I can get back home in time.
Good luck Serena against  Miss Bertens.

Was Serena wearing padded suits to give the appearance of being heavier and more out of shape than she actually is? She looks mighty svelte here.

catching up with today's results.. youtube videos... etc.. Smile
Glad to see Serena is through. Should take out Venus next.
Under pressure, Serena hits ace, Venus double faults.
Under pressure, Serena hits return winner, Venus dumps the ball in the net.
Under pressure, Serena stays in the point, Venus make UE.

Conclusion: Serena wins; 2-set, 3-set match? doesn't matter. Serena moves on.

Mytiwtiw, see, you are not alone! You clearly have fellow fan club members of the
'Trash Venus Society'.

Power tennis is wonderful.

@ WTA level

@ ITF level
Kostyuk vs Zanevska : What a match !!!!
Where has Zanevska been. Is she injury prone? She is already 24. Best ranking is #105 I don't know how long ago that was...Currently #160+ ... That match was insane. I mean, I felt sorry for that ball. Zanevska won the tournament, defeating Aiava in the QF.. What a fine power house!!!

15-year old Kostyuk is something special when facing another power player. Haven't seen her face slicers/spinners/ grinders/pushers, etc.. But, at that age, where does she get all the power from?? She got an amazing defense + a world class offense. if she can stay healthy, watch out !!!!

Saying Serena is a better player is not an insult to Venus. Just look at their results.
Serena will dig dip and hit an ace or service winner in crunch time. Venus has a tendency to DF or make errors in those moments. Venus should have won Wimbledon last year. Still remember a forehand sitter to break Muguruza and serve for the set. She botched it.. In a situation like that, Serena most likely would have made that shot.
That's what I am talking about. Re-watch the match against Kiki Bertens, and you'll see it.
Serena is back competing like she never left. The woman is simply AMAZING!!! That have nothing to do with big sis' Venus.

Zanevska is the first “product” of the Henin tennis academy; she was there for 8 years and also changed nationality (from Ukranian to Belgian) in 2016.

She is OK but Belgians Mertens, Van Uytvanck are better imo.

The girls don't respect Sloanie's GS credentials.
