Re:CONGRATS To WOZ, GS Champ & New No. 1Wozniacki will have to drag the trophy from Halep's cold dead body. Like a rabid dog, she's got her teeth sunk deep and is not letting go. NO WAY Halep's giving it to her. Not after the grit and fight she's shown this tournament. She wants it badly and she's finally going to take it. Better hope she doesn't put a beatdown on Caro.
If Halep is hungry for Danish, she'll have to satisfy it at the local bakery and not on Caroline. Halep will be Romaine coleslaw when Caro is through with her. Halep saved 3 match points and 2 match points in 2 different matches. Wow... Hope she doesn't allow Match points for Wozniacki. Halep's path to the Final has been rough, while Wozz's been pretty quiet. Again: let's go Halep. Show the world who is #1!!!
everything has been said about Halep here. And she's come through. She was going to be blown away by Bouchard because of a bad ankle. She was going to be blown away by hard hitting Osaka. She was going to be blown away by almighty Pliskova She was going to be dragged by Super Strong Kerber. Halep conquered them all, saving multiple match points in the process. She will conquer Wozniacki as well. The only dangerous opponent Wozniacki faced was the untested, super smart Mertens who is still learning her art. Had Mertens not flopped those set points, a 3rd set might have changed her life. Last edited by Ace2Ace on Jan Thu 25, 2018 11:14 am, edited 2 times in total.
MADD must be going mad. His wet dream so close to becoming reality: a Romanian GS champ and World No. 1 while the WS are still active. Last edited by Grossefavourite on Jan Thu 25, 2018 11:18 am, edited 1 time in total.
