Angie prevails in the 2nd, but was nearly on the brink of elimination. Don't know who will prevail in the 3rd, for Su-Wei is making Angie earn every point, playing deft, high quality tennis. Angie has the rep for getting everything back, making it difficult to earn points against her. Today, the reverse is true. Appreciating the effort and game of Su-Wei in this match. Enjoyable match....

Angie with the break, then holds at 3-1. Is Su-Wei beginning to tire? Starting to miss some, shots she wasn't missing up to this point.....

5-1 Angie now as Su-Wei is beginning to fade, even missing droppers she was deftly nailing in the lst 2 sets. Good effort, tho' in a very entertaining match....

And Djokovic needs to clims a mountain: 6-7 5-7 down vs Chung. the Korean was leading 4-1 in that set with chances to go to 5-1, but Novak got back on serve (5-5) and was leading 30-15 at 5-6. But Chung played great defence on the first BP in that game and forced Novak to take on more risky shots as Chung was bringing it all back until Novak dumped the ball into the net. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# I see that I am the only one who picked Chung as winner in the PGame. I knewhe was going to make life hard for Novak. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#But Chung is not there yet. Novak won't gift this away. So Pliskova may have to wait a loooooong time to get onto the court if this goes to 5....#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#And if not, we get a QF Sandgren vs Chung for a spot in a SF against (most likely) Federer...#ed_op#br#ed_cl#Top half in ATP is loaded with Nadal, Cilic and Dimitrov.
