Please tell me Venus isn't going into AO cold to defend her runner-up triumph.

Very entertaining second set between Radwanska and Townsend. Aggie winning 6-3 7-5.

I was pleasantly surprised by many aspects of Taylor's game. And I can only explain it by assuming that Taylor is genetically a big girl, and that her natural size gives a misleading effect of appearing to be badly out-of-shape. She may have a few pounds too much on her, but it will hardly make an impact on her appearance. She ran to balls that you would expect to be out of her reach (based on her size), but her movement caught me be surprise on several occasions and she returned them... often even with a winner.

That ball on BP (for 6-6) was millimeters out and deserved to be a winner. And in the TB, anything could have happened.

Overall, an entertaining second set.

If Taylor doesn't get a tactical technician as coach, she will never fulfill her potential.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#Who plays Radwanska and stands 100 miles behind the baseline to receive serves? Some of the serves are so slow Taylor sits and wait for them to come to her. #ed_op#br#ed_cl#Taylor hits the frame more than Stosur lol lol lol, because she waits for the balls. And if the ball doesn't come to her, she can't adjust, is out of position and throws a bad swing in the sky, sometimes hitting the frame. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#This is a case where a good coaching could change the player's life. That Donald dude is no tactician. He can't tell the difference between ATP tennis and WTA tennis. ATP guys stands 100 miles behind the baseline to receive the 140mph serves. That's not a WTA game. Does he watch Serena, Muguruza, Vika, Ostapenko, Garcia, even Sasha Vickery? Can't he see where they stand to receive serve? Geezzzz... Radwanska was no threat at all.. She got away because Taylor has no coach to help her play smarter tennis. #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#Until Taylor changes coach, adios !!!#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/EGrQ91rD4Oo" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen="" width="854" height="480" frameborder="0"#ed_cl##ed_op#/iframe#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#compare to where she used to stand on Return:#ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LSSBskKrdG4" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen="" width="854" height="480" frameborder="0"#ed_cl##ed_op#/iframe#ed_cl#

She frowns on being called Gorgeous. Of course, she'll change her mind once she gets older and no one thinks about using it.
