Good win for Belinda, winning the 3rd set breaker against Flip'. A long way back to get into the top-100 (with today's win moving up to 209th in "live" rankings), but it's doable. Good to see Linz give her a maindraw WC and, hopefully, Luxembourg or Moscow will give her one, as well. Nice young talent, needing a leg up due to injuries and bad draws.

During the 2 mo. off-season, change the diet and get into better shape.

She'll be back...

She needs people to have faith in her potential; that is why I picked her as my uWP 😀😀.

Belinda is too young to give up on, giving her and others at that age massive space to grow, mature and become proficient. My rule of thumb is 25 years of age. However, when you're a fully grown adult (upper 20's), in your prime, but still hit or miss (Petra K.), non-competitive (Barthel) and hopelessly inept (Sabine), my confidence in such changes, losing optimism. Fully accepting now that Petra will not be the stellar player I envisioned for her, same for Venus, retro to '08. Mona.......please. Players today lack maturity something fierce in their upper 20's and I don't make excuses for them, for you should know better and be better, confident and proficient with your game.

And into the QF!!

Now a day of rest for Bencic, and then Buzarnescu (should be doable).

Looking at the draw, I only see Strycova as potential obstacle..
