We could get: Pliskova vs Pav's Kerber vs Vekic/Bouchard Putintseva vs Kvitova Cibulkova vs Safarova Makarova vs Konta Svitolina vs Kasatkina (finally back in action - both of them) Siniakova vs Venus Vesnina vs Dodin/Barty Konjuh vs Muguruza Kuzzy vs Bellis Garcia vs Ostapenko Mladenovic vs Gavrilova Keys vs Halep "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re:OOP...Monday....Toronto@ rex: There goes my fmKO-opportunity (Halep)... If you cannot play two events in a row when you win the first, then PLEASE do not bother entering an International or a Premier the week before a major event. lol at Lepchenko. She allowed Ostapenko to come back from 2-5 down in the 3rd to win. Last edited by Grossefavourite on Aug Mon 07, 2017 3:55 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Re:OOP...Monday....Toronto@ Graveller: What can one say, Grav'? These girls today aren't capable of playing back-to-back events after reaching the final of the previous event. 95% of the time they'll either lose, withdraw or retire ere or in the lst match of the next week. Happens oft.....
After being inactive for more than a month (hopefully she managed to recover from all her injury issues), Kasatkina started with a close 7-6 7-6 win vs Vinci. Back on the right track. Next two matches are Svitolina and (likely) Venus. And if she would get through, then it could be QF Muguruza, SF Halep, F Pliskova Not gonna happen, I know, "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" |
