VENUS, Oh, No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has her mother, her sister, and David. They'll help her hold herself together.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#The media is being the media, disgusting as always. They don't care about her or #ed_op#br#ed_cl#that anyone died. They just want salacious stories and making her cry is their sick#ed_op#br#ed_cl#delight! #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl#One thing I've observed about Venus over the years from press, she's not a confrontational#ed_op#br#ed_cl#type, but if she feels backed into a corner she will come out swinging. If they keep their#ed_op#br#ed_cl#nonsense up as the tournament progresses she'll snap at them and put them in their #ed_op#br#ed_cl#place! ATTORNEYS SEEK VENUS WILLIAMS' CELLPHONE IN FATAL CRASH PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Attorneys for the family of a 78-year-old Florida man who died after a vehicle crash with tennis star Venus Williams are asking to search her cellphone. The Palm Beach Post reports attorneys at Steinger, Iscoe and Green filed a motion Friday requesting to have a forensic expert examine Williams' phone to determine what she may have been doing when the June 9 crash happened. Jerome Barson — a passenger in the car his wife was driving — died two weeks after the crash. The motion states that "evidence gathered thus far indicated (Williams) may have been distracted and or unnecessarily delayed" in her reaction to a traffic signal or surrounding traffic. Earlier last month, Williams and her attorney objected to a motion asking to see her cellphone records. http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2017/08/ ... ash/68206/
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Records from Venus Williams' cellphone will be turned over to attorneys representing the family of a 78-year-old Florida man who died after a June car crash with the tennis star. The Sun Sentinel reported Tuesday that an agreement for the records was reached prior to a court hearing in a lawsuit filed against Williams. Jerome Barson's family sought the records to find out if Williams was on the phone and distracted just prior to the crash. Williams' lawyers said they will turn over phone records that span a two-and-a-half-hour period before and after the June 6 crash. Her lawyers say Williams wasn't distracted. #ed_op#font color="brown"#ed_cl#@ #ed_op#b#ed_cl#Grossefavourite#ed_op#/b#ed_cl#:#ed_op#/font#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# #ed_op#br#ed_cl##ed_op#i#ed_cl#I find it strange that Venus' attorney would turn over phone records for a 2 and a half hour period for an accident that took less than a minute, from the time the light turned green and Venus legally entered the intersection after the car preceding her to the collision. #ed_op#/i#ed_cl##ed_op#br#ed_cl# Last edited by rex on Aug Tue 22, 2017 7:48 pm, edited 1 time in total. |
