USO has increased the pot for prize money this year. A decrease for the finalists, but an increase elsewhere. lst rounders now earn 75k, a 23% increase over last year. This agreement was hammered out between the players and Tour management. Kudos to the top players for this agreement to help low-ranked players get a financial toe-hold in the game....

USO Prize Money IncreaseRe: USO Prize Money IncreaseGee..... qualifiers prize money per round: Q1 $20K 2pts Q2 $32K 20pts Q3 $42k 30pts Talk about a blessing for career ITFs and other lowly ranked players just getting a sniff at a Slam. Pretty good reallocation of prize money, per the agreement between players and tourney management for this event. Hope other Slams follow suit. |
