Vee frustrates so much.
When Venus starts playing bad tennis during a match (often), muffing routine returns into the net, failing to execute makable balls, and/or folding in the clutch, I just click off the match and do something else. I stopped getting rattled by Venus' consistently uneven play years ago.

6-0 6-0, wow, a reigning GS champion! Is she injured? Her pride for sure. Didn't think she had any business winning a GS title.

“I think consistency was the key to the scoreline,” Azarenka said. “I feel that I played really smart tennis today—I was able to use a lot of the court, and I was able to use a lot of different pace. So I’m really happy about that. But the key to the scoreline was to maintain the level I started with.”

The two had played once before, with Kenin winning a two-hour, 32-minute marathon in the quarterfinals of Acapulco in February 2019, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, after Azarenka served for it at 5-4 in the third.

Ditto! I'll just check the scoreboard from time to time.

I only get rattled because she still shows glimpses of brilliance which allows
me to get my hopes up only to have them inevitably dashed!

Halep should've been disqualified at 2:05, just as Novak was at the USO.
