2020 French OpenI laugh all the time Re: 2020 French OpenI accidentally locked my iPhone ~ I'm gonna hit someone with it soon Re: 2020 French OpenI'll awake, and my hair is two inches longer around my neck lol lol lol I was training a French Belgian Intern once ~ He said: MY name is Gael, not Gale!! LOL, then he took me to lunch for hot corned beef sandwiches (a blonde, 6'2") I told him that my son was taller than him, but he didn't believe me ... Then Doo showed up!!! Re: 2020 French OpenNext year we Skan again ! I still wonder what they were thinking when organising RG at this time of year over here.. Paris is 2.5 hours drive from where I live and I can guarantee that the weather is awful at the moment. I would not even let the dog out for the moment (no need to feel sorry for the dog: I don’t have one) "Never argue with an idiot - they take you down to their level and then beat you on experience" "Don't wrestle with a pig: you both get dirty, but the pig actually likes it" Re: 2020 French OpenYes, holding an outdoor event in early fall in Paris is indeed ridiculous. What spectators in attendance are dressed in overcoats, huddled up. Vika, for one, already complaining about the cold and conditions, stopped play with her match with Kovinic desiring to ask the Chair and supervisor to suspend the match. Re the 2021 Skan.......the AO is already in jeopardy. At the TF there is a thread where the theme of such is the possible cancellation of the AO due to its government's strict protocol on quarantine for the virus. Ash Barty is absent from the French due to her inability to prepare properly with her coach, who lives in another province of said country, subject to strict travel restrictions imposed by their government in response to this virus. Further, they have a 91% recovery rate from +27k cases offset with 875 citizens succumbing to the virus. Given this it appears their Nation's head doesn't want to jeopardize their low death count, if one can call it that, with foreigner's coming in for a few weeks who could potentially be carriers, given how poorly the States and certain countries in Europe (Brits, Italy and Spain to name a few) have handled the pandemic. Yet, they have a guide in how to handle such for the event, given how well the USO unfolded. New Zealand organizer's for the Auckland are ready and prepared to handle their event, coupled with NZ's success in handling the outbreak. They've petitioned their government to get things moving, but they're not getting a response at this point. Would be a shame to lose the Pacific in January, for the AO and the lead-up in New Zealand is my favorite time of year for the game, as players start the year ready and eager, coupled with excellent fan support and more than decent weather. https://www.tennisforum.com/threads/ten ... d.1374925/
