she is lucky the deadline to enter the French Open comes early. Otherwise, girls would have pushed her back in the ranking and she won't have been able to play unless Australia hands her a WC.

Per the WTA website, Destanee got the call to join TA's Fed Cup team next week against Serbia. She's joining Gavrilova, Barty and Dellacqua. For her it's a big move and it could spell gold for her at the French...

Australia likes to throw their youngsters into the big arena. They almost destroyed Barty.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#I don't like the idea of this 16-yo joining their Fed Cup team. Let her grow.

Barty and Gravilova will likely play singles, with Destanee and Casey handling doubles. Not a big deal, for Serbia's team is loaded with young players, i.e., Nina Stojanovic, Aleksandra Krunic, Ivana Jorovic and Dejana Radanovic. Outside of Krunic, I've never seen, nor heard of the others. Just an experience......

 That stinks even more. Have you seen Aiava play Doubles? :) She is clueless. And I don't think Fed Cup is the place to learn. Too much pressure.
