Hmm, news that is not so good.

Not going to repeat myself extensively on what I posted about a year ago; in summary, I said that imo the way that Serena managed her knee would determine her success in the last years of her career.

We all know that cartilage damage can only be managed - not healed. Having this issue again after hardly playing since the US Open, suprises me.
And if I have to believe Ace (I did not see her play at Miami), see does not look 100% fit. So if her knee remains an issue despite playing a very limited schedule + not practicing not as much as needed to be 100% fit, then that is a bit worrying.

We'll see what happens in the coming months.

lol lol lol.. I remember also you said that before she went on to win her last slam. You've been talking about those knee injuries for at least 4 years. ... She's been managing it very well... So now it's time to let go. :) :) :)
The Queen of compton doesn't fit the regular mold. She is the most gifted tennis player of the last 25 years.

Yeah, Serena will get old, with bad knees, ankle, wrist, etc... One day she'll hang up the racquet and take a well deserved rest. Yup, it will happen. People get old and grumpy.. lol lol lol.
Serena won't be an exception.
By the way, I think she is pregnant and won't play for the next 18 months.. That would be "end of career". But I am certainly wrong.

She may not be pregnant now, but she has moved on to her entrepreneur life. By the end of this year she will be pregnant.

Not playing for 6 weeks, then playing three matches in the two most important non-slam-events, and the outcome is a R32 loss and a withdrawal due to her knee.
You call that "managing very well"?

I hold my breath on what will happen if she starts to manage it less well ;-)

lol ... She didn't have knee problem @ Indian Wells or Aussie Open, only @ Miami.
So she'll take care of if by the time French Open comes around.
And she'll walk straight to the podium with #24. I have already selected my uWP. :)
Let's go Serena, prove the whole world wrong, one more time !!!!!!!!!!! even if standing on 1 knee. :) :)
