Choke of the year....?

Medvedev 5-1* up, having MP in the third... then losing 14 of the next 16 points and facing 3 BP for 5-5

5-5 indeed...

and the crowd is disgusting.... cheering missed first serves? Good that this event moves on from here next year.

Nadal has nothing to do; just return the ball and wait for the inevitable Medvedev error. The guy cant get the ball over the net, or inside the lines. Every shot DTH seems to go out.
His serve is gone too...

Back fro mthe dead? 0-30 down; two pointd away from defeat, and then 4 winning serves.

He was getting ready to serve, the crowd started to chant "let's go Nadal, lets go", but he simple served anyway (a winning one) and that seemed like a turning point in that game.

TB-time...

Nadal wins... unbelievable twist, but Medvedev totally trew that one away himself.
To be honest, Daniil had a crap attitude after every error.

Well, Tsitsipas will teach Nadal a lesson on friday.

“Honestly I have been super lucky, that is the real thing, sorry for Daniil, it’s a tough loss, he was playing much better than me in the third, today is one of the days one out of 1,000 you win, I was happy. I cannot thank the crowd for the big support

“When it was 5-3 when you have first break, then you are only one break away, I know from personal experience how tough it is to close out a match. That moment I just thought I can have a chance. I played a bit better at the end, I played a better second set, I played much better than two days ago, that is a big positive for me.

“I have had a lot of years on the tour, I love what I am doing, I love this sport, I love playing this amazing stadiums, in front of you, that is the biggest motivation. It’s impossible not to fight with all these people supporting you.

“Stefanos is a great player, with a lot of energy, he is very young, and he is having an amazing season. It will be tough. I need to win that one. I need to be ready for that one. Let’s try to make that happen.”

I think it was more of them cheering Rafa to extend the match than Med's mistakes, no?
I think London has been a good host but excited for Italy. It's been long enough. Anywhere but CHINA.
